Week 3 started with a lot of time on the road, 600 kilometers ending with sleeping on the bus at a gas station, followed by another long day and 500km on the road, after 2 weeks in Ecuador we crossed the boarder to Peru, where we stay 3 weeks, currently in Lima where we yesterday visited a shanty town , 70% of the population in Lima live in poverty.
In the soup kitchens they prepare food for 50 for 12 dollars/day. The only meal many of them eat (separate post will follow regarding this) there is do much we can do to help
